Historical Tours
B.Y.S. has access to historians and tour guides in Bermuda who hold UNESCO World Heritage Site qualifications, who also have Certified Tourism Ambassador accreditation. These experts are highly sought after by hotels and local companies and deliver customized driving and walking tours. Focusing on St. George’s and the East End, these guides create unforgettable, behind‐the‐scenes experience such as exploring the crypt of St. Peter’s Church, the attic of the Globe Hotel and they also explore the interior of the State House. Additionally, they check the basements and outbuildings of Mitchell House, among other hidden gems. Many guides use their stage experience and engage in costume re‐enactments. They take on roles such as the Town Crier. Their polished storytelling brings history to life. With warm humor and engaging presentation skills, they delight visitors of all ages.

Goslings
Gosling Brothers Ltd. was founded in 1806. It is Bermuda’s iconic, family-owned rum producer. The company is best known for Gosling’s Black Seal, the dark, molasses-rich rum which fuels the island’s signature cocktail, the Dark ’n Stormy. Gosling’s products and branded experiences are widely available across Bermuda and they are popular on yachts and in restaurants. These offerings provide visitors a taste of authentic Bermudian rum culture. Whether sipped neat, over ice, or mixed with ginger beer, Gosling’s remains synonymous with the island’s maritime and drinking traditions. Take a behind the scenes tour of the production facility of Gosling’s and enjoy a tasting in the executive board room or the Gosling’s Wine Cellar. Discover the rich history of the Gosling’s Family and taste the full range of rums and liqueurs they have produced in Bermuda since 1806.
Bacardi
Bacardi Limited is the largest, family‐owned spirits group in the world. It is best known for their signature Bacardi rum and other brands such as Bombay Sapphire, Grey Goose, and Patrón. Its global corporate headquarters are in Hamilton, Bermuda and this location is home to senior leadership and central functions, including strategy, finance, legal, and marketing. The company relocated from Cuba in the 1960s. Production and visitor distilleries are located elsewhere, but the Bermuda office remains a visible local presence. The newly renovated 1862 Cocktail Bar at Bacardi’s global headquarters, opened in the summer of 2022. This award-winning bar showcases Bacardi’s full portfolio of over 200 brands on a 19.5-foot, floor-to-ceiling display. It features design elements inspired by the company’s heritage and historical artifacts from its archives. A tour of the facility concludes with a couple of cocktails in the bar and guests also receive a bottle of Bacardi Superior as a gift! Art Tours:
Bermuda Yacht Services can arrange art tours at the Hamilton Princess, the National Gallery and Masterworks.
Hamilton Princes Hotel and Beach Club: Explore the guided tour of the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club’s acclaimed art collection which showcases contemporary and historical works. These pieces are by both Bermudian and international artists and are displayed throughout the hotel’s public spaces and private galleries. The curator-led walk brings each piece to life. It highlights local cultural themes, striking murals, sculptures, and site-specific installations. The tour also offers behind-the-scenes insights and opportunities for private viewings.
Masterworks:
Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art celebrates and preserves Bermuda’s rich visual-art heritage. The permanent collection and rotating exhibitions showcase historical, modern, and contemporary works by Bermudian and international artists. They are complemented by engaging educational programs, artist talks, and community outreach. Masterworks is set in a welcoming space and is often enhanced by outdoor sculptures and special events. It is an essential cultural destination for anyone interested in the island’s artistic life.
The Bermuda National Gallery:
Located in Hamilton, it is the island’s primary public art institution. The Gallery is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and showcasing Bermudian and international visual art. This ranges from historical to contemporary practices. The Gallery has rotating exhibitions and a growing permanent collection. It also offers a strong calendar of talks, guided tours, workshops, and educational programs. These elements provide engaging experiences for visitors of all ages. A must‐visit cultural stop in Hamilton, it provides insight into Bermuda’s artistic heritage and contemporary creative scene.
Tea at Perfumery and/or perfume making:
Lili Bermuda creates fragrances which capture Bermuda’s natural beauty and romance in aromatic form. Their inspirations include Bermuda cedarwood, spring freesias, fresh loquats and salty ocean breezes. Intoxicating, romantic scents fill the air at Lili Bermuda, located in the historic Stewart Hall in St. George’s Parish. This is where master perfumer Isabelle Ramsay-Brackstone crafts each Lili Bermuda fragrance by hand. She continues a tradition started in 1928 and her perfumes have been raved about in publications like the New York Times, Elle and InStyle. But despite the international acclaim, Lili Bermuda remains made only in Bermuda. It is available exclusively in Bermuda or online at lilibermuda.com. It’s just one of those things that’s best experienced in person. Learn about the making, bottling, and aging of perfumes. Enjoy the perfumery’s scentsual ambiance during your visit and tour. Or, elevate the experience with an intimate workshop with Isabelle, who will help you create your very own signature scent. The workshops are built around spirited discussions and full interactive participation. Afternoon tea features the confections of Paula Hayward and Nicki O’Connell. These sweet treats are made with the freshest local ingredients. Bermuda From the Sky:
Flying in a small plane gives you an entirely unique perspective of beautiful Bermuda. The islands and reefs are truly stunning from the air. The colours are incredibly vibrant, and you can see how our islands and communities fit together. Even people who have lived in Bermuda their whole lives usually see something they didn’t know was there! The view you get for a few seconds from a tiny window of a commercial flight is limited and it doesn’t compare to the stunning sights from the cockpit of a small plane. And, if you’ve never been in one, it is an experience and an adventure not to be missed!
